Melanie Vinton, MA LMFT
Melanie brings brightness, encouragement, and balance to her work with you. She believes that using a holistic approach encourages success. Melanie is trained and specializes in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. Melanie is a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor available for MFT, LPC, and LPCC licensure supervision (individual and group). She also offers case consultation for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, Case Managers and Companies.
Katie Mohr, MA LMFT LPC
Katie brings a warm, friendly, and understanding style in her work. Katie’s aim is to provide encouragement and support as individuals work through and process past and/or present life issues that prevent them from living a rich and fulfilling life. Katie is trained and specializes in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. Some areas of focus and experience include helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual issues, and teenage to adult transition.
Karin Carver-Regan, MA LMFT
Karin brings humor, compassion, and respect to her work with you in order to create a safe place where healing and growth can occur. She believes in addressing the whole person and working collaboratively in order to create a unique therapeutic experience. Karin is trained and specializes in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. Some areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship conflicts as well as divorce and supporting the family unit through that transition.
Sheena O’Brien, MA LP
Sheena brings hope, honesty, and humor to her work with you. She believes that a client focused, strength based, cognitive behavioral approach supports change. Sheena is a Licensed Psychologist who works with those struggling with anxiety or depression. She specializes in life transitions such as relocating, career change, and relationship struggles as well as assisting young adults with transitions such as change in employment, college, and housing. She understands that leaving a partner or community can be painful and isolating and has found that by creating a supportive environment for her clients, they can find positive solutions to life’s problems.
Theressa Duren, MA, LAMFT
Theressa brings an authentic, compassionate, straightforward, and collaborative approach to her work with clients. She believes in the power of genuine connection as a strong motivator for change. She believes it is crucial to provide a trusting and supportive environment, in which clients feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged no matter the circumstances. Theressa specializes in working with couples and provides support for a range of martial stages from pre-marital counseling to navigating the process of divorce. She has a strong ability to identify the core issues in couple relationships and enjoys the process of helping couples to move forward in a healthy and collaborative way. Theressa also really enjoys working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, ADHD, and anyone going through transition or simply needing additional resources and support.
Josh Zeron, MS
Josh believes that increasing self-awareness and enriching one’s life leads to fulfillment. He brings a warm and calm approach with a focus on acceptance to help you find contentment. Josh knew early in his life that he wanted to be a counselor and has spent the past seven years working diligently toward this goal. He graduated from Richmont Graduate University in 2013 and has gained a broad experience in the many areas of mental health.
Emily brings a thoughtful, grounded, open-minded, and creative approach to her work with you. She believes that counseling and therapy is a collaborative process, and operates as a guide to help you reach your goals. Emily uses the creative process and art-making as a tool to explore issues that are arising in your or your child or teen’s life, bringing awareness, meaning, and deeper connection with the self. She believes you don’t need to be an artist or be “good at art” to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with art materials to support and inform your process of personal growth.
Kristopher is an Office Assistant at Invigorate Life Counseling and is currently enrolled in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Saint Mary’s University. Kristopher primarily handles general office duties and will begin his practicum with Invigorate Life Counseling in the fall of 2017. Kristopher continues to learn and explore the many different facets of counseling. He has an interest in working with couples as well as a special focus on music therapy where he can utilize his love for music in a setting working to help others. Kristopher is available to assist and answer any questions upon your visit.
Brandy is an Office Assistant at Invigorate Life Counseling and has been a part of the team since March 2016. Brandy handles all general office duties. She is currently working towards her Bachelors in Psychology at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul. Brandy has a passion for adolescents and young adults and hopes to one day become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, where her love for children and families can come together. Brandy is a calming presence in the office, she is available to assist and answer any questions you may have upon your visit.
