What is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy is meeting one-on-one with a therapist on a consistent basis to create change, further your self-exploration, and personal growth. The therapists at Invigorate strive to create a safe and trusting relationship with you so you are able to navigate the challenges you are facing. Depending on the therapist’s therapeutic process and your goals, you could be meeting with your therapist and doing talk therapy, art therapy, somatic experiencing, parts work, and/or a specific trauma trained approach.

How does Individual Therapy work?

Finding the right therapist who fits your goals and needs is very important. Once you read through each therapist’s profiles and determine who you’d like to meet with first, click on get started to begin the appointment process. Once that is complete, you have your first appointment! Within the first two sessions, you and your therapist will determine your goals that you’d like to work on and ensure that it is a good fit for both therapist and client.
