More About Me
Background
I believe that everyone is unique and so I use a collaborative, holistic approach that is rooted in the mind-body connection. I am a firm believer that using mindfulness as a foundational principle of therapy can help you navigate the struggles and uncertainties of life.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and completed my master’s degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I have many areas of interest; one is identity formation and helping others express their true authentic self. I enjoy working with creative, outside the box thinkers, and enjoy helping musicians and other artists break through creative barriers by facilitating insight throughout the therapy process.
As a professional musician, I believe that music has the power to heal and help individuals view their problems through a different lens so they can fully embrace life’s moments. I have over 20 years of experience performing and have toured across the United States and Canada. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new music, and being surrounded by other creatives.
Specialities
I am EMDR trained and have a passion for using these skills to help people tap into their best self through education about trauma and the connection between mind and body. I utilize EMDR, body awareness, mindfulness, and breath work as foundational principles of my practice. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience working with individuals ranging from 20 – 60 years old.
