More About Me

Background

I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and Art Therapy at Adler Graduate School in Minnesota. I approach the therapeutic process through a strengths-based, collaborative, and holistic lens, with the understanding that each person has individual needs and goals. I aim to walk with you on this path, using art, nature-based therapy, and talk therapy to support healing. With encouragement and a person-centered theoretical approach, I believe that change and acceptance can flourish.

I am a photographer and sculpture artist, who embraces the power of nonverbal processing and communication, which can be guided through various modalities. I believe that personal exploration and art-making can promote increased opportunity for insight and development.

Amber offers online and in-person sessions at the St. Paul office. To learn more about what an art therapy appointment might be like click here.
