PRE-LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Amy Kroeger, MA

I work with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, and relational concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity about the roles we play in relationships, including the relationship we have with ourselves. Whether you’re feeling stuck or seeking new ways of relating, I offer a space to try on change and reconnect with yourself.

More About Me

Background

I work with adults, couples, and families to shift relational patterns and support interdependence.  My work is rooted in curiosity about the relational scripts we inherit and the roles we often play unconsciously. Whether in individual or relational therapy, I help people observe how they show up in relationships with themselves, with one another, and with the cultural narratives that intersect with our many identities. Together, we explore how parts and patterns were formed, how they’ve protected you, and where they may be ready to shift at home, at work, and in our relationships.

I am a pre-licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have specialized training in both Discernment Counseling and Postpartum Doula Care, which deepens my attunement to moments of relational transition. I also enjoy working with an adult(s) and their parent(s) to shift relational patterns.

Whether you’re at a crossroads in a partnership or adjusting to a significant life change, I am here to help you reorganize around new meaning. My style is warm, collaborative, and unafraid to name what’s happening in the room. Together, we can use the therapy room as a kind of rehearsal space to try on new ways of relating. Ultimately, our work will explore your interdependence — a place where you can both nurture connection and still belong fully to yourself.

If you’re feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, navigating uncertainty, or longing to feel more like yourself in your relationships, I would be honored to begin this work with you. It takes courage to look inward and even more to do it in the presence of another. I aim to offer a space that feels grounded, respectful, and gently provocative, where real change becomes sustainable.

Personal Interests

Therapy is a second career for me after spending 13 years in a different field. In this transition I’ve worked to find my own practice of interdependence where I can feel deeply connected to my work, while still belonging fully to myself. When I’m not at Invigorate, you’ll find me in or on the water: swimming, paddleboarding, or simply floating. I enjoy baking sourdough bagels, listening to podcasts exploring complex topics and non-fiction audiobooks, memorizing names of monster trucks with my son, and spending time with my family and friends.
