More About Me
Background
My passion for connecting with and supporting humans has been a lifelong presence. I had the privilege of deepening my skills in doing so while attending Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts where I obtained a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Art Therapy.
Throughout my experience during graduate school and post-master’s clinical work, I gained an appreciation for supporting individuals through a warm, trauma-informed, and eclectic approach to cater to unique needs. A session with me may look like a smorgasbord of art therapy, creative expression, talk therapy, mindfulness, frameworks for changing unwanted patterns, and non-judgemental exploration of the self. I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and am working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
I offer online and in-person sessions in the St. Paul office on weekdays.
Specialties
I love walking alongside adults navigating a range of lived experiences. I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities including creative arts therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), transtheoretical model for change, and attachment-based therapy.
