More About Me

Background

In my work at Invigorate, I provide ongoing individual and group consultation as well as supervision to build and maintain a strong foundation for the Invigorate team, and to prepare new therapists to be successful in the mental health field.

I have more than 15 years of experience in healing complex trauma with individuals and families. I look at issues and patterns through a trauma-informed lens and have a passion for utilizing therapies such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), AIR Network, somatically informed practices, yoga movement, and the attachment theory. I draw on this experience to assist my clients and families with the trauma healing process but also to mentor the Invigorate team with an emphasis on encouragement and collaboration so they can facilitate change and healing with their clients.

In the fall of 2021, I launched a new program: “Invigorate Your Healing: Intensive deep trauma work to become the whole person you already are.” This program was created for individuals seeking to complete an intensive program that uses EMDR, AIR Network, somatically informed therapy, and body movements to heal deep trauma. Please note that these are the only clients I am working with at this time.

As Invigorate’s Clinical Leader, I have successfully mentored and developed many emerging therapists. I primarily use self-as-therapist and an open and direct communication to mentor and support therapists entering the field for the first time. I am a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor for MFT, LPC, and LPCC licensure boards and provide regular ongoing individual and group supervision for post-graduates.
