More About Me

Background

I enjoy providing a safe, personable, and non-judgmental environment to better understand what you’ve experienced in the past and how it may be affecting you today. I am an EMDR trained therapist and when applicable, I use a trauma lens in my work. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I believe that your collection of struggles and pain are unique to you. It’s important to take time to understand what you’ve experienced and why, in order to help you no longer feel exhausted and “stuck” in your day-to-day life and relationships.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with my Master of Clinical Counseling degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I bring 9 years of experience working in the mental health field and have a true passion for working with those who have experienced trauma in their lives.

Specialties

I specialize in working with adults, teens, and women who have experienced complex trauma and am a trained EMDR therapist. I utilize somatically informed practices, art, and internal family system parts (IFS) into my practice with you.
