More About Me
Background
I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Minnesota. We are all constantly growing, and I believe we each have the capacity to find purpose and fulfillment, regardless of what that might look like. By working together we can explore practical tools and find ways to reconnect to what matters most to you. I look forward to working with people at all stages of life. I have previous experience working with adults, teens and young adults. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, I strive to create a space where you feel heard and supported.
Specialties
My work focuses on supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with clients around relationship concerns, identity exploration, burnout, and perfectionism. While I welcome working with individuals from all backgrounds, I especially value connecting with BIPOC individuals and members of the immigrant community. I recognize that beginning therapy can come with unique barriers and challenges, and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves.
Some of my areas of interest include:
- Anxiety
- BIPOC/Multicultural Affirming
- Depression & Isolation
- Existentialism
- First & second generation individuals
- Identity exploration
- IFS (Parts work)
- Immigrant experience
- LGBTQIA+ affirming
- Life Changes and Transitions
- Mindfulness
- Self-Esteem
- Trauma
Personal Interests
When I’m not at Invigorate, I enjoy being outside, discussing existential questions with loved ones, and acquiring new plants for my indoor forest. I hope to connect with you soon!
